I grew up playing tennis and fell in love with the game as a kid. Like many others, I drifted away from the sport, but rediscovered it in adulthood. As a generally frugal person, I started back up with the cheapest racket I could find, and then eventually found a deal on some used mid-tier rackets. It was only after I decided to invest in a top of the line racket that I realized how expensive they had gotten, and I found myself wondering why.

Well-made sports equipment should not be a luxury item, and I thought there had to be a way to bring the prices down. So I started researching what goes into building a racket and whether there was anything I could do to offer a more affordable option. After a few months of working with manufacturers, testing samples, and refining designs, humble tennis was born.

My dream is that humble can make tennis more accessible, and I hope it helps others find the same enjoyment from this game that I do.
